The Civic Faith Alliance: God’s Battle Plan for Gospel-Powered Citizenship

The Civic Faith Alliance (CFA)—a spirit-led ministryempowering pastors to engage and educate with the sword of the Spirit and the shield of prayer. Forging iron-clad bonds between shepherds and statesmen, ministering life to weary leaders, and uniting church and state as co-laborers for righteousness, all to see cities ablaze with the glory of Christ’s kingdom (Hab. 2:14).

WHY THIS WAR CRY?

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me… Go!” (Matt. 28:18–20).

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God!” (1 Cor. 10:31).

Yet Satan’s smoke of cultural surrender, partisan poison, and culture-war cowardice has choked the lungs of the Bride. Pastors whisper:

  • “Should we even fight?”
  • “Has the culture already fallen?”
  • “Can we touch politics without staining the gospel?”

NO MORE RETREAT! CFA roars back with divine fire:

  • ENGAGE? YES!—as salt and light that cannot be hidden (Matt. 5:13–16).
  • LOST THE WAR? NEVER!—the gates of hell shall not prevail (Matt. 16:18).
  • COMPROMISE THE GOSPEL? IMPOSSIBLE!—we preach Christ crucified and serve in His name (1 Cor. 2:2; Col. 3:17).

WHAT CFA DARES TO DO

  1. RELATIONSHIPS THAT MOVES MOUNTAINS
    • Pastors engaging —in person or via screen—armed with open Bibles and knees bent in prayer.
    • Scripture thunders, solutions ignite, and officials experience the impact of God’s presence (James 5:16b).
  2. PARTNERSHIPS THAT CALMS CHAOS
    • Church and state lock shields to provide biblical legislation to social issues.
    • Embrace God-ordained authority with glad submission, for “every soul” thrives when honoring the powers established by the Lord Himself (Romans 13:1, KJV). We obey—together.
    • Champion the righteous to lead, that the people may rejoice under just rule, while the wicked’s dominion brings only mourning (Proverbs 29:2, KJV). We obey—together.
    • Pursue the divine vision of a secure homeland where God’s people dwell in peace, free from the oppression of the wicked—planted forever by His hand (2 Samuel 7:10, KJV). We obey—together.
  3. RESOURCES THAT EQUIP WARRIORS
    • Regular dispatches, and scriptural application for use in pulpits and plazas—training every believer to “live as citizens worthy of the gospel” (Phil. 1:27).

THE VICTORY IS ALREADY WON—NOW OCCUPY!

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever!” (Rev. 11:15).

Civic Faith Alliance is God’s people and statesmanprayer-fueled, gospel-saturated, culture-conquering.

Pastors, officials, citizens—JOIN THE CHARGE.

We will bow—not to politics, but to the King.

Core Spiritual Pillars

  1. Prayer Before Policy – We enter the public square as intercessors before influencers.
  2. Presence Over Politics – We bring Christ’s presence, not partisan pressure.
  3. Service Before Status – We serve our leaders as Christ served humanity.
  4. Truth Without Fear – We speak biblical truth with love, grace, and conviction.
  5. Transformation Over Transaction – We seek hearts changed, not hands shaken.

Scriptural Foundation

These verses establish a biblical mandate for Christians to engage in prayer, representation, and civic blessing—core duties that extend to the public square, including government and culture.

1.  II Corinthians 5:20

“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did make his appeal through us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

  • Key Truth: Believers are Christ’s ambassadors—official representatives of His kingdom on earth.
  • Implication: Just as an ambassador speaks for their nation in a foreign land, Christians are to speak, act, and vote in ways that reflect God’s will in the public sphere.
  • Application: This includes policy advocacy, voting, and public leadership as acts of stewardship under Christ’s authority.

2. I Timothy 2:1–2

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”

  • Key Truth: Prayer for leaders is a primary duty of the church, not an optional extra.
  • Implication: Intercession for those in authority is linked to the peace and freedom needed to live out the gospel openly.
  • Application: Christians must pray strategically for rulers—whether favorable or hostile—so that the church may flourish without hindrance.

3. Proverbs 11:11

“By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.”

  • Key Truth: The presence and influence of the righteous directly exalts a city (or nation).
  • Implication: God uses upright people—not just pastors, but citizens, leaders, and voters—to bring blessing and stability to society.
  • Application: This is a call to active civic engagement: voting with righteousness, speaking truth in public, and pursuing policies that honor God.
